David R. Morrison – President
David R. Morrison is president of Elder Law Associates of Pennsylvania, with over 25 years of experience in the practice of estate planning. The University of Pittsburgh School of Law awarded him a University Fellowship giving him a full scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh Law School.
With family roots in Lancaster County going back over 200 years, much of his professional career has focused on rights of seniors and estate planning.
Mr. Morrison has taught advanced taxation at Elizabethtown College, and has also taught at Franklin & Marshall College. Frequently lecturing on wills, trusts, and pre-retirement planning, Attorney Morrison speaks to senior groups throughout the Lancaster County area. He is co-author of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s “Advance Health Care Directives & Limited Guardianships.” He resides in Landisville with his wife, Marilyn.

Dennis Hartranft, Jr. – Attorney at Law
A native of Ephrata and Eagle Scout, Dennis graduated magna cum laude from Shippensburg University. In 1984, he graduated from Temple Law School and has been with our firm since 1986. His practice focuses on estate planning and settlements, insurance and retirement planning. He is in charge of our real estate conveyancing, and is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate law. He is admitted to practice in all of our local courts, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and the United States Tax Court. He handles all of the tax preparation work for the firm in the spring.
He resides in Ephrata with his wife, the former Diane Aucher, daughter, Kiersten and son, Kevin.
Cathy M. Montague
Cathy received the Most Outstanding Business Student Award from Conestoga Valley High School. She handles our estate administration, word processing and other computer work, as well as scheduling and client inquiries. A mother of 3, including a pair of twins, she manages to balance work as well as being a full-time homemaker. Cathy has been with us since 1986.
Sandi has joined our firm to assist our clients in Medicaid planning. If you are a Medicaid client, please ask for her when you call the firm with Medicaid questions.
Joyce has joined our firm to manage our files and coordinate scheduling.
